Solder and Enamel: The Dynamic Duo Workshop
Join us for an exciting virtual workshop that explores the unique combination of soldering and enameling! This class, led by experienced instructor Anne, will take place in the comfort of your own studio or home. While solder and enamel are not commonly paired, Anne will guide you through each step of creating a stunning pair of earrings using a torch—ideal for those who do not have access to a kiln.
Workshop Highlights:

Hands-On Learning: Anne will demonstrate techniques during a 3-hour session, providing you with the confidence to create your own jewelry pieces with solder and enamel.

Practice Time: After the demonstration, you will have the opportunity to practice these techniques independently. If you lack a home studio, our studio is available for practice at $15 per hour.

Community Support: A dedicated Facebook group will be created for participants to ask questions and share progress between sessions.

Prerequisites:

Participants must have prior experience in soldering, enameling, using a flex shaft, and piercing independently. The workshop will also cover decision-making processes regarding material choices.
About the Instructor:
Anne is an independent studio artist for over 20 years, teaching workshops and exhibiting in juried exhibitions. Work is included in the permanent collections of: Philadelphia Museum of Art, Yale University Art Gallery, Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, the Crocker Art Museum, University of Arkansas, Little Rock Department of Art and Design Permanent Art Collection, the Enamel Arts Foundation, and numerous private collections.
